Your tour begins at Times Square, in the center of Manhattan. Take an air-conditioned bus north to the historic Harlem area, known for its African-American history, cuisine, and other attractions.
We’ll proceed north into the Bronx, the birthplace of hip hop and rap as well as the home of the New York Yankees, after stopping at the Apollo Theater Walk of Fame. Yankees Stadium is a great place to learn about baseball history. Then explore the fantastic graffiti murals that are unique to this borough.
The next stop is Queens, New York City’s largest borough. We’ll stop at Flushing Meadow-Corona Park, which was built to hold the 1939 and 1946 World’s Fairs, and where you can still see some of the monuments. Queens Park offers many other attractions, including the Queens Museum of Art, Queens Hall of Science, and the Queens Zoo. We’ll see Citi Field, the home of the Mets when we make our way there.
After leaving Queens, head to Brooklyn’s Bushwick Collective, which is now New York City’s most prolific area for street art and graffiti murals. We’ll take a break to eat since it’s a gastronomic destination.
The Hasidic Jewish community in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is prospering. When we visit, you’ll get the opportunity to see their unique stores, clothes, and restaurants.
Finally, take in views of the Manhattan skyline from the Brooklyn Bridge, formerly the world’s largest suspension bridge. Our trip concludes in Little Italy and Chinatown in Manhattan, where you are free to explore this vibrant cultural area on your own. It’s a terrific spot to stroll about, shop, dine, or stay for dinner!
